I Woof You!

On to the next V-day card!

My niece is in love with pets but unfortunately cannot have one.  So I thought this little pooch would be perfect for her Valentine's card. I am loving that paper by Pebbles.  Hearts and kraft colored paper...what more could you ask for?

How Wonderful Life Is...

TGIF!

I am so happy it's Friday.  I will just spend the weekend unwinding, catching up on some TV shows and catching up on some rest.  Oh, how I love lazy weekends!!

I finally got a start on my Valentine's cards.  I love this sentiment on the Yours Truly element sticker sheet.  I think it's perfect to send to my nina (Godmother).  This sticker sheet was full of sentiments that I adore so you will, of course, be seeing more of them.

I tried my hand at mixing pattern papers and I'm not sure how well I did.  I also tried to keep it simple.  I'm not sure yet how I really feel about it but it's really starting to grow on me.  Especially with that sticker!

2012 First!!

I can't believe this is the first crafty thing I've done in 2012.  And one of my resolutions was to make at least one thing a week.  But a new job has been killing me lately and I just haven't been up to playing with my Cricut.  And I got some new things for Christmas, too!! =(

My niece did a really good job this semester by bringing home all good grades.  So, I decided to make her a little treat.  I got this idea from Alex over at You Had Me At Craft.  Except I made this little beaut with an 8 1/2 x 11" piece of black card stock.  It's real simple, but real cute.  It was looking a little bit blah, but I added some Stickles to it and dressed it up a bit.  I know it's not much but I was so happy to be making something with my hands (finally!), so I'm happy with how it came out.

Almost done with Christmas!

I've been a busy little elf!!  I thought I was almost done with Christmas but things just keep popping up.  I hate doing things last minute, but that's just how I roll.

The challenge over at BBTB2 was to use a tag from Winter Frolic.  I may be a little late in posting this since they have already got their new challenge up, but I couldn't resist not playing along.  I love all the tag cuts from Winter Frolic!!

My first project is a gift card box.  I don't like just giving gift cards in a card...I like to make them a little bit special.  This box cut from Tags, Bags, Boxes and More was just perfect.

I thought I was done with Christmas cards but my boyfriend's mom asked me to make just one more for her.

And then she needed a gift bag.  I had this plain kraft bag and decided to alter it a bit.

I wish I could say I was done with Christmas, but I have some things left to make. Ay yi yi!! I'm just kidding! I love Christmas crafts. And I'll be sad when it's all done and over with! =(

Thank you all for stopping by!

Also, I hope everyone has a very Merry Christmas!!!  May your holiday be filled with Love, Happiness and Family!

Sandy Claws

I am sad to say that this is my last Christmas card. I was sad because I was thinking that all of my Christmas crafting was done, but I need to make a couple of other things still.  So Christmas is not over just yet!!! =)

Santy Claus

It seems like something is missing but I was crunched for time. I am still very happy with how it turned out. I know my family will love it.

It's been real fun making my holiday cards this year. I made them last year, too, but this year, I am very proud of how much time and thought went into each card. Last year, I made a couple of designs and mass produced. But my goal this year was to make each card special and unique. And I did just that. I am really excited to see what I can accomplish next year!!

Jingle Bells

I needed an elegant Christmas card to send to my Abuela in Mexico.  Elegant isn't really my style.  Mine is more fun, bright and cheery.  In my book, Gold, is the epitome of elegance.  So, I knew I needed to incorporate the color in my card.

Bells

I am loving the gold on gold.  FYI, this look is absolutely delicious when wrapping gifts.  Use gold wrapping paper and tie it all up with some gold ribbon.  Hello, beautiful!!!

Feliz Navidad

I absolutely adored the color combo chosen over at ColorQ:

Isn't it just pretty???  Once I saw it, I knew I had to play along.

Here's a really simple and easy card I whipped up for my in-laws.
